Seven clubs, each playing every rival six times, make a 126-game regular season. That is what the TPBL played in 2025-26. The published 2026-27 schedule lists 124.

The two missing games are in two pairings. DEA and Mars are listed for five meetings instead of six, and so are Formosa and Hsinchu. As a result four clubs have 35 games on the calendar and three have 36.

The counts below come from the league's published 2026-27 regular-season schedule as it stood on November 5, 2026, and the 2025-26 schedule for comparison. Eight games have been played and 116 are still to come, from November 7 to May 16. Dates are as listed. Games can be added or moved, so treat the counts as a snapshot.

Which games are missing

Nineteen of the 21 pairings have six meetings, split three at home and three away. The two that do not:

Pairing Meetings listed Home games listed
DEA and Mars 5 DEA 2, Mars 3
Formosa and Hsinchu 5 Formosa 3, Hsinchu 2

The schedule does not list a third home game for DEA against Mars, or a third for Hsinchu against Formosa. That leaves DEA and Hsinchu with 17 home games listed and 35 games in total. Formosa and Mars have 35 games and 18 home games. The other three clubs, Kaohsiung, the Kings and the Leopards, have 36 games and 18 home games.

Club Games listed Home games listed
Kaohsiung Aquas 36 18
New Taipei Kings 36 18
Taiwan Beer Leopards 36 18
Formosa Dreamers 35 18
Taipei Taishin Mars 35 18
Hsinchu Lioneers 35 17
New Taipei CTBC DEA 35 17

In 2025-26 all 21 pairings had six meetings and every club had 18 home games.

A weekend league

The calendar leans on Saturdays and Sundays more than the schedule it replaces.

Day 2025-26 2026-27
Saturday 53 53
Sunday 53 55
Wednesday 15 9
Friday 5 7

In 2026-27, 108 of 124 games, 87.1%, fall on a weekend, up from 84.1% in 2025-26. The league lists no games on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays in either season. Tip-offs are at 14:30 (55 games), 17:00 (53) and 19:00 (16), local time as listed.

Games come in doubleheaders. The 124 games fall on 73 dates, and 51 of those dates have two games and 22 have one.

Rest, and a long February gap

No club plays twice in a day. Each club has seven or eight pairs of games on consecutive days, and a typical gap between games runs from 5.6 to 6.2 days. The longest wait for any club is 14 to 20 days.

League-wide, the longest break in the schedule is 13 days, from January 31 to February 13. In 2025-26 the longest was 17 days, from February 15 to March 4. The schedule does not say what the break is for.

Venues

Each club's home games are at one venue, and two clubs share one. The Kings and DEA both list the Xinzhuang gymnasium, 新莊體育館, for their home games. They never host on the same date.

Ten home games have no venue listed: four for the Kings, on March 6, 7, 13 and 14, and six for DEA, on March 20, 21, 26, April 3, 4 and 9. All ten are in March and April.

The Leopards have settled. They split their 2025-26 home games between two venues, nine at 桃園巨蛋 and nine at 中壢國民運動中心. This season all 18 are listed at 桃園巨蛋.

What the numbers show, and what we read into them

The numbers show a published schedule that is two games short of a complete double round robin, concentrated on weekends, and with 10 home games still to be assigned a venue.

What it means is our reading. Schedules at this stage are often not final, and we do not know whether the missing meetings are planned, deferred or errors. What we can say is who they affect. The listing is missing DEA's third home game against Mars and Hsinchu's third home game against Formosa. If both are added, the four clubs on 35 games would reach 36.

The check is simple. When the league updates the listing, count again. Until then the season has 116 games left, and how fast they are played is the open question.
